The government of India has started working upon a plan for India @2047 which would
encompass a vision and an action plan to make a future-ready India. The vision plan will focus
on different sectors such as Agriculture, Defence, Science and Technology, Energy,
Infrastructure etc. In the social sector, an action plan has to be developed for the Education
sector in cognizance with various stakeholders such as universities, research institutions,
experts such as directors, faculties etc
The plan will have targets that need to be achieved in
25 years for India to become a developed nation. The aspiration of the vision is:
• Attaining new heights of the prosperity of the country
• Making the best facilities available both in the villages and the cities
• Eliminating unnecessary interference by the Government in the lives of citizens
• Building the world's most modern infrastructure
